My First ever Q&A! the best and funniest questions I’ve had…

Since I have started blogging, I’ve been getting a lot of questions from my social media (@delveintodem), on my blog and in person. So I thought I’d make a post, considering I’ve been a it stumped for posts since my mind is souls focused on revision, sad I know. I’ve picked an array, some are general ones and some from other users. I want to thank people for their interest in my blog, it reassures me I am not writing smush and not talking to a brick wall!

Why did you start blogging?

I needed a hobby, honestly I have like no talents (accept baking) so I thought that maybe a blog would be a great way to challenge my thoughts and feelings. I used to keep a diary, but I couldn’t commit to it so I thought maybe a blog would be the more fun and exposed option.

Why DelveintoDem?

I never really gave the name much thought… When I first started blogging I expected nothing at all! So I didn’t really cater for everyone. But delve into dem just caught me I guess, I usually go through phases of saying one fancy word and it just so happened on creating the blog it was ‘delve’.

Do you like cats?

This one made me smile, it was arbitrary and fun but unfortunately, I do not. There is something about cats – despite my allergies- that really wig me out!

Do I have a favourite blogger?

Urm, well I haven’t actually been able to focus on my blog as much as I’d like, but o do know that the blogs I am subscribed to and those I find really interesting! I find it hard to find different posts on WordPress. Maybe, it’s because I don’t fully know how to use it yet but I’ll let you know if I find my blogging idol!

Best and worst thing about blogging…

Best would have to be the interaction, I’d never have thought people would subscribe to my blog and become regular readers and I love that. I love that I learn so much from other people’s blogs and that everyone has their own unique voice.

Worst would be the brick wall conundrum. I do write stuff sometimes and feel shit low that I can’t get traffic to it, again, I attributed it to the crappy quality of the post or I just haven’t gone the right way about blog exposure!

Any useful tips for new bloggers?

I am still a new blogger so I definitely not a ball of wisdom, but I can say persistence is key! You get out what your put in and after my exams I plan to really work on my blog and make it a place where people want to be to read. Also, pictures! They really add character.

What wishes do you have for your blog?

I really liked this question, because it made me think about the future of my blog. I’m not too sure, but I know I want to vamp it out and get a cool theme and a personal domain name. I also plan to try and focus my posts more specifically on lifestyle of living! That was my purpose but couldn’t quite achieve it when my own life is academically consumed.

Favourite food…

Im sure you can tell by my posts that it’s pizza… Today I had… PIZZA!

So these are just a few of the questions, most I had answered personally. But i find it important that this blog is relatable and that I’m not just a blogger but someone who is a person also.

Just a heads up, I will be MIA for a while became my exam season it creeping in… I’ve got some exciting stuff lines up for the future months that I’m excited to be involved in. That’s if I make it through my exams!

Any questions… You know where to reach me ๐Ÿ™‚
